WAYNE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A young boy has died after being hit by a vehicle in Wayne County. It happened in the town of Galen around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday.

State Police say Neil Hoover, 14, of Clyde, was riding a bike on the side of Clyde-Marengo Road when he was hit from behind by a vehicle.

Hoover was pronounced dead at the scene.
