SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- It's one thing to have the constant flow of new stores and restaurants in Destiny USA, but to be successful, you have to have the right people manning the ship.

All told, about 1,600 positions need to be filled on both associate and management levels, so the mall hosted another job fair on Thursday.

With the majority of retail spaces in Destiny set to be filled, mall officials believe it's a great opportunity for people looking for steady work.

"In this marketplace, with unemployment levels high, people are looking for employment and so we're very excited to be able to bring these positions online through the businesses that are hiring,” Destiny USA Spokesperson David Aitken said.

In many cases, companies aren't just looking to hire their initial staff to get up and running, but also extra help for the upcoming holiday rush.
