POMPEY, N.Y. -- One person has now died following Friday's two-car crash in Onondaga County. Sheriff's Deputies said the crash happened just after 4:00 p.m. on Pratts Falls Road in the town of Pompey.
They said Charles Tremper, 66, of Syracuse, failed to yield the right of way to a pick-up truck driven by Lawrence Pilcher, 55, of Jamesville. Tremper was not hurt, but two of his passengers were injured. Another one of his passengers, Anthony Reisman, 67, was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital where he later died.
Pilcher refused treatment, but his wife was taken to the hospital to be evaluated. Tremper was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
