VESTAL, N.Y. -- Vestal Police arrest three people wanted in connection with a string of burglaries, a larceny, and a robbery. Police said they received a call about people throwing retail security tags out of a moving vehicle on Friday night.

When police pulled over the car, they found two people inside, including Miranda Guerin and Benjamin Johnson, both of Binghamton, who were suspects in a September 17 robbery at a Subway Restaurant in Great Bend, Pennsylvania.

According to police, the pair may also be involved in recent burglaries in Binghamton and Conklin. Johnson and Guerin were charged as fugitives from justice, and were sent to Broome County Jail.

Officers said the third person, Joshua Olivera, initially gave them a false name. But, after learning his real name, they discovered he was suspect in a larceny in Johnson City. Olivera was charged with criminal impersonation, and was also sent to the Broome County Jail. Police are expected to press further charges against all three.
