TORONTO, CANADA -- Southern Tier native MMA star, Jon "Bones" Jones, remains the Light Heavyweight Champion. He took on former champion Vitor Belfort at UFC 152 on Saturday night.

Jones went into the matchup as a favorite, but had quite a scare as Belfort came out strong in the first round. But, he was able to get back into it in the third round as Belfort's striking fell short. Belfort finally fell victim to an Americana submission 54 seconds into the fourth round. Jones improves to 17-1.
