LIVERPOOL, N.Y. -- More than 100 people came together at Long Branch Park in Liverpool on Sunday to walk in memory of a 20-month-old girl. Lily Sateriale passed away suddenly in her sleep in February from SUDC, or sudden unexplained death in childhood.

All proceeds raised from Lily's Walk for Answers will go towards the SUDC Program, a national non-profit organization. So far, the walk has raised about $8,000. Lily's family said the support from the community has been overwhelming.

"It's been really tremendously difficult, but at the same time, it's great to know that her life has still made such an impact, and people will continue to remember her," said Laura Sateriale, Lily's mother.

The SUDC Program was founded in 2001.
