ENDWELL, N.Y. -- State Police in Endwell arrested a man for an alleged burglary. Police say William Aleba, 32, was arrested this past Thursday at a home on Church Street in the Town of Maine.

Troopers say they responded to the home to find Aleba inside and in the process of stealing numerous household belongings. He put up a brief struggle before being taken into custody.

Aleba was arraigned in the Town of Union Court and charged with second degree burglary. He is being held in the Broome County Jail without bail.
