Former postal employee sentenced
LEWIS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former postal employee has gotten jail time for embezzlement.
Erin Woolschlager, 36, of Lowville, was sentenced to 10 weekends in jail, five years probation and 200 hours of community service. She also has to pay back more than $21,000.
Woolschlager worked at the Natural Bridge Post Office. The U.S. Attorney's office say she admitted to cashing 105 money orders and doing everything from depositing the money into her checking account to paying her bills and buying a puppy.
