ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Elmira Police are searching for the suspect in an early morning shooting.

Police say they received a call just after midnight from the Arnot-Ogden Hospital after a man arrived there with a gunshot wound. The victim, whose identity is not being released, told police he was walking on the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue in Hathorn Court when he was shot in the back of the head.
