BROWNVILLE, N.Y. -- Several fire departments were kept busy Tuesday night after a home in Jefferson County Town of Brownville caught on fire. A passerby on Route 12E reported seeing flames around 10:30 p.m.
Luckily no one was inside the home at the time, as it was unoccupied during renovations.
Firefighters say there was significant damage to the home both inside and out.
Investigators have not yet determined what started the fire.
