OWASCO, N.Y. – Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a serious crash involving high school students in the Town of Owasco. Sheriff Gould says it happened around 8 a.m. on Rockefeller Road.

Four students were in the car, heading to Auburn High School.

The sheriff's office says Colin Kalabanka, 17, had just picked up a passenger, and passed another vehicle before losing control and hitting a tree.

Kalabanka and Robert Reynolds, 16, were taken to upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Mitchell Feocco, 17, and Natalie Herlihy, 19, were taken to Auburn Memorial Hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
