ONEIDA, N.Y. -- A young girl was hospitalized after she rode her bike into the side of a moving vehicle.

Oneida Police say the 11-year-old was in the driveway of North Broad Street School Wednesday evening when she pulled out into traffic. The girl was not wearing a helmet at the time. She was taken to Upstate University Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.

No tickets have been issued.
