SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Start your electric engines. It's go kart time at Destiny USA.

The Pole Position Raceway opens to the public Monday. It's an indoor electric go kart track with cars that reach a maximum speed of 45 miles per hour. Each race consists of 14 laps, or a total of about four miles. Drivers are racing for the fastest lap.

"People who have been in racing all of their lives are investors in the Pole Position Raceway corporate brand, so to bring a very authentic experience to the racing community and to non racers alike, it's an incredible rush for everyone," said Karen Davis-Farage, Pole Position Raceway President and Co-Owner.

A single adult race costs $23 plus a $5 temporary race license good for one week.
