Cornell Police investigate rape attempt
CORNELL, N.Y. -- Cornell Police are searching for a man following a report of an attempted rape. According to University Police, a woman reported that a man attacked her Wednesday night as she was walking across the Trolley Bridge connecting Oak Avenue with the Engineering Quad.
The man tried to drag her into a wooded area, but the victim was able to get away after hitting him. The suspect is described as a man in his late 30s with dark hair, about six feet tall, and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds.
