OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The driver in Friday's early morning crash in Oswego is now facing a long list of charges. Police responded to a crash involving two vehicles and a pedestrian at West First Street and West Bridge Street just before 3:00 a.m. on Friday.
Police said a vehicle that was driven by Joseph Weigand, 49, hit a pedestrian trying to cross the street, then collided with another vehicle. Three people were treated and released from the hospital following the crash.
Weigand now faces 10 charges, including first degree attempted assault, second degree assault, reckless endangerment, driving while intoxicated, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Police said more charges are possible.
