HARTSVILLE, N.Y. -- A Steuben County man is being held without bail following an unattempted burglary. Deputies said Jason Maker, 28, of Hornell, entered a Hartsville home on Friday afternoon and stole a large container of change.

He was detained outside by local residents until police arrived. Maker is now charged with second degree burglary and petit larceny, while also having an outstanding felony probation warrant out of Pennsylvania.
