RAEFORD, N.C. -- A 22-year old Airman, originally from Binghamton, was killed in a car crash Friday in North Carolina.

Senior Airman Jordan Godbout was an aerospace medical service technician assigned to the 43rd Medical Squadron, 43rd Airlift Group.

His commander issued a statement following the crash, sending his condolences to Godbout's family, and calling it a tragic loss for the Air Force.

The accident is still under investigation.
