HORSEHEADS, N.Y. -- After last week's announcement that Sikorksy Military Completions Center will close its Big Flats plant in December, employees met with union officials to discuss what benefits will be available to them.

On Sunday morning, a few dozen Sikorksy employees met at Horseheads High School's auditorium with UAW Local 1752 Union representatives for an informational meeting. Representatives told employees that they will receive their contracted benefits, which include severance pay, and their pensions will not be affected because the company is not filing for bankruptcy.

CSS Workforce New York will be working with groups of employees on resume writing and interviewing skills, all as part of their Rapid Response Team.
