CICERO, N.Y. -- One person was taken into custody following a fire in Cicero Sunday afternoon. Fire officials said they arrived at a vacant home on Gillette Road East in Cicero shortly after 3:30 p.m. They found a living room area at the front of the house on fire.

Neighbors reported seeing two young people running from the structure. Officials said one suspect is in police custody.

"We're not sure if it's arson or just something that got away from them. There's some couches and stuff that had been placed in the living room. Don't know if they're homeless or just kids or they're using it as a place to hang out," said Cicero Deputy Fire Chief Ronald Barling.

Cicero's Deputy Fire Chief said investigators are working to determine what sparked the flames.
