SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A new and highly anticipated form of entertainment has opened at Destiny USA as part of the effort to turn the mall into the second most visited attraction in the country.

Pole Position Raceway held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its indoor go kart track and arcade. The raceway offers an "arrive and drive" experience and groups of 10 or more people can pre-schedule their visit.

The track, located on the third floor of the mall, is part of the key drive to attract people from more than just the Syracuse area.

"So for us, the third floor is a magnet. We believe it will draw people to the market place, will be a great compliment to the outlets, the restaurants and the other retails brands that we have," said David Aitken, Destiny USA Executive.

Aitken says the success of newly opened businesses is a great example for owners who are hesitant about opening their business in Destiny USA.
