ELMIRA, N.Y. -- An Elmira man has been arrested for selling heroin.

Tanner Rios, 25, of West Third Street in Elmira, was arrested and charged with criminal possession and criminal sale of a controlled substance. Both are class B felonies. It is alleged that Rios sold heroin to another person in Steuben County.

As part of the Steuben County District Attorney's drug initiative, Rios was arraigned in County Court and remanded to jail without bail.
