CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The estranged wife of the man sheriff's deputies believe murdered a Southern Tier school superintendent is speaking for the first time since his arrest.
Anthony Robert Taglianetti II, 42, was arrested by U.S. Marshalls on Friday. Deputies believe Taglianetti shot and killed Clymer Superintendent and former Sherburne-Earlville principal Keith Reed Jr. on September 21st.
A source tells YNN they believe Taglianetti's wife and Reed were involved in some sort of relationship.
For the first time since her husband’s arrest, Mary Taglianetti spoke about her relationship with her husband.
“I can tell you he was a very controlling man and I'm glad he is where he is right now. He's guilty and I'm glad he's there. We've had a rough marital history,” Mary Taglianetti said.
Authorities say they found a handgun in Taglianetti's car they believe was used in the murder, but they won't know for sure until ballistic testing is done.
