SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse man who pleaded guilty in connection to a 2010 shooting death gets 17 years in prison. Shakeem Moore was sentenced Tuesday.
Moore pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter for being one of two men who shot and killed Tavorn Hunter, 27, on South State Street in October two years ago.
Authorities say Moore and Derek Williams, who pleaded guilty back in January, were attempting to rob Hunter after a drug deal.
