SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Ursula Rozum teamed up with fellow Green Party member, Greenwich Mayor David Doonan to push another major campaign initiative.
Rozum called on her opponents to join her in supporting electoral reforms for a more unregimented voting system, one that allows representation for all parties. She says modern day electoral races are motivating people to vote based on their fears and not for what they really want to see in office.
"Candidates actually have to present the positive solutions that they would bring to voters, rather than just slinging mud at each other," Rozum said.
"And it's important for people to realize that Green Party candidates can get elected and they can serve in a really dignified, important, serious way to help revitalize their communities," Doonan said.
