New exhibit brings the MOST back to the Ice Age

A new exhibit at the Museum of Science and Technology in Syracuse is bringing guests back to the Ice Age. About 20 pre-historic creatures are all part of the educational exhibit called 'Ice Age, Mammoths and More.' Our Brad Vivacqua has a closer look.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- This exhibit will be at the MOST through January 6th as part of a visiting display that goes around the country. The exhibit includes animatronic creatures surrounded by terrain and conditions from the last 60 million years.

Some of the animals include the well known woolly mammoth and the saber-tooth tiger.

"So you get to see some of the creatures that are actually part of our history here and the geology of Central New York. Both the woolly mammoth and the saber-tooth tiger are indicative of Central New York. So, it's neat to come out and see what was happening fifteen million years ago here in Central New York," said Tony Ortega, MOST Executive Vice President.

You can check it out during regular hours Wednesday through Sunday for regular admission at the museum, which is generally $8 for adults and $7 dollars for kids.
