NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. -- New Hartford police continue their search for a man who robbed a Bank of America. The bank in the plaza off of Genesee Street and Campion Road was robbed shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Detectives say a man handed a note to a teller demanding money, but never showed a weapon. They say he did get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
"We are interviewing the employees that were working. We do have a forensic investigator on scene, he'll try and look for any physical evidence," said Chief Michael Inserra, New Hartford Police.
Police have not released surveillance photos from the scene, but say the suspect was wearing a light blue shirt and a blue hat at the time.
