Police arrest man following burglary investigation

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- A Binghamton man is arrested after police say he burglarized numerous college houses. Edward Cleveland, 32, is accused of entering houses in the St. John Avenue area and stealing electronics and female undergarments.

The incidents were reported from March through September of this year.

During a search warrant of Cleveland's home on Mather Street, investigators found burglary tools, and stolen property including female undergarments. He is charged with three counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about incidents involving Cleveland to call them at (607) 772-7080.
