STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former tour boat that has been squatting at a Steuben County dock will be auctioned off later this month.

The Keuka Maid and all of its restaurant equipment inside will go to the highest bidder October 22nd at 11 a.m. Interested buyers can preview the items an hour earlier.

Brzostek’s Auction Service will be handling the sale.

The Keuka Maid has been out of service for several years after new state inspection laws went into place. The Town of Urbana has been trying to have the boat evicted since 2010.

About two months ago, a jury ruled that the boat was squatting in its current location.
