Adirondack Scenic Railroad expanding its route
Three weeks ago, work began on adding six more miles to the Adirondack Railway. The railroad is replacing ties, a project that will allow the company to carry passengers the extra distance from Utica to Big Moose. So instead of the ride stopping in no man's land and turning around, people can get more bang for their buck, even stopping at a local Big Moose Restaurant. As our photojournalist RD White shows us, workers are hoping to have the project done before the end of this foliage season.
