FENNER, N.Y. -- A new 300 foot turbine is going up in Madison County.
The turbine, the largest in the county, is being built on Buyea Road in the Town of Fenner. It will replace a 300 foot windmill that collapsed back in 2009.
Construction for the turbine began last month, becoming the newest addition to the Fenner Wind Farm. Fenner Town Supervisor Russell Cary says the turbine is using a new technology to create new efficient wind energy.
