CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. -- A car dealership owner in Cortland County is arrested following an investigation into sales tax fraud.

State officials said Joseph Fezza, 45, the owner of JF Auto World on Tompkins Street in Cortlandville, failed to pay more than $180,000 in state sales tax, from March 2004 to September 2009.

Fezza is also accused of failing to file sales tax returns since July 2004 and personal income tax returns since 1998.

He is charged with grand larceny, criminal tax fraud and repeated failure to file personal income tax returns. Fezza pleaded not guilty to all charges and was released after posting bail.
