WOLCOTT, N.Y. -- State Police arrested a Wolcott man who is accused of having sex with underage girls. Troopers arrested Joseph Maxey, 44, and charged him with predatory sexual assault against a child, and rape.

Maxey is accused of having sex with girls between the ages of 12 and 14. Investigators said the abuse began in 2007. He was arraigned in Galen Town Court and is being held at the Wayne County Jail without bail.
