Two men killed in rollover crash

HARFORD TOWNSHIP, P.A. -- Two young men from New Jersey died in an overnight crash in Susquehanna County.

Pennsylvania State Police say a car carrying five people rolled over on I-81 southbound in Harford Township just after 1 a.m. Sunday.

They say the vehicle left the roadway and hit a steep embankment. The car then rolled multiple times. Police are still unsure what made the car go off the road.

The driver, Richard Montano, 20, and his passenger, Julius Ignacio, 21, both of Union, New Jersey were killed in the crash.

Three other passengers, Ian Oliveira, Michael Piazza, and Nathaniel Fernado, all 19 years old, were also in the car at the time. Their injuries and conditions were not released.

The road was closed for several hours while police investigated the accident.
