OWEGO, N.Y. -- An Endicott woman dies after being hit by a vehicle. It happened in the Town of Owego Saturday afternoon.

State Police said 64-year-old Dorothy Rice was riding a bicycle on the shoulder of State Route 434 when she was hit from behind by a car. Rice was taken to Wilson Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The accident is under investigation.
