SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A portion of 690 westbound remains closed in Syracuse this morning due to construction. It is expected to re-open later today.

Work began Friday on the North Crouse Avenue Bridge, closing the highway from Teall Avenue to West Street. There are detours in place but expect delays if you're traveling in that direction this morning.

Construction is scheduled to wrap up by noon today.
