ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Dozens of people showed up at the Butterfly Garden in Liverpool, one day after losing Ryan Misener, 21, in a car crash.

The Liverpool man was in the front seat of a vehicle that spun into a median on Interstate 690 Monday morning. The driver, Keisha Gray, 20, of Ohio, was also killed and a third passenger was seriously injured.

Tuesday's vigil included Misener's family, friends and co-workers from a local restaurant, The Retreat. Everyone remembered him as a shy person, who had a big heart.

The third passenger in the vehicle, Joseph Clayton, remains hospitalized in critical condition with severe head trauma.

Police say another vehicle was also involved. David Grice of Fulton was on his way to work at the time and couldn't avoid the crash. He is listed in serious condition
