Man arrested for assault in Syracuse
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man is in custody following an assault in the city. Allen Rowe, 25, was arrested at his home Sunday night on Hawley Avenue.
Rowe is accused of attacking Reginald Blackshear, 41, cutting Blackshear on the side of his face with a sharp object. Police believe the attack was part of an ongoing dispute between the two men.
Blackshear was taken to the hospital for his injury but is expected to be okay.
Rowe is facing multiple charges including first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
