Calling hours scheduled for Oneida mayor

ONEIDA, N.Y. -- Calling hours have been scheduled for the Mayor of the City of Oneida who passed away after battling an illness.

Calling hours for Don Hudson will be held at the Kallet Civic Center Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Civic Center.

Hudson worked in the City of Oneida for decades, mainly as a firefighter and fire chief. He was elected Mayor in 2011.

Hudson was 56 years old.
