One man arrested for Endicott shooting
ENDICOTT, N.Y. -- One man was arrested following an afternoon shooting in Endicott. Endicott Police say they responded to a call of shots fired Sunday at 24 Lincoln Avenue around 2:40 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a 34-year-old man who had suffered a gunshot wound to the pelvis and had him taken to Wilson Hospital for treatment. During the subsequent investigation, police recovered a .40 caliber handgun and charged Tyrone Howell, 21, with criminal possession of a weapon.
A second suspect was also detained but was turned over to the New York City Police Department on an unrelated investigation.
