SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police made an unusual arrest as an alleged bank robber returned to the scene of the crime. Detectives said an East Syracuse man stole money from Alliance Bank on James Street in Syracuse.
According to police, Arthur Bundrage, 28, entered the bank around 9:00 a.m. on Monday and demanded $20,000 in cash. The teller eventually gave him some money.
Investigators said that Bundrage returned to the bank after realizing he did not get all of the money asked for. Officers said they arrested the suspect after he tried to get back into the building. Bundrage never used a weapon during the incident. He is facing grand larceny charges.
