Small plane crash

By: Web Staff

SENECA FALLS, N.Y. -- The FAA is investigating a small plane crash in Seneca Falls. It happened around 11:15 a.m. on Sunday morning off of West Farron Road.

Police said Allen Staff, 49, of Penn Yan, was piloting the 1971 Cessna Single Engine plane, and was attempting to land when high winds forced the plane to the ground. Police said the plane struck the ground nose-first on the edge of the runway. Nobody was injured in the crash.
