SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A bunch of new flights is creating a crowd at Hancock International Airport. The City of Syracuse is asking people to arrive earlier for morning flights because the airport has been packed at security lines between 5:30 and 7 a.m.

New flights to Minneapolis and LaGuardia are creating the crunch.

Hancock is reminding people that ticket counters and security checkpoints open at 4 a.m.

People should arrive for their flights at least 90 minutes before it is scheduled to takeoff.

Crowds will get even bigger as the holidays get closer.
