Search continues for missing teen
NORTH COUNTRY, N.Y. -- State Police are asking hunters in St. Lawrence and Franklin counties to be on the lookout for signs of a missing teen.
Colin Gillis, 18, of Tupper Lake, was last seen walking on State Route 3 between Tupper Kale and Piercefield last March. Search and rescue teams and volunteers spent seven days searching more than 2,000 acres, but could not find any clues of where he may be.
Gillis was wearing a white t-shirt with black stripes, blue jeans and red sneakers. He may also have been wearing a black or red coat and carrying an orange and black backpack.
Police are asking anyone who hunts in the area to keep an eye out for any items the teen may have been wearing or carrying when he was last seen.
If you have any information about the missing teen, call State Police at (518) 897-2000.
