BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- A familiar scene in Binghamton as a tractor trailer caused minor delays on Front Street. A semi truck hit the railroad bridge and got stuck.
This was the scene Wednesday afternoon. Emergency crews helped remove the tractor trailer from the road.
The bridge has been a problem in Binghamton. Many trucks have hit the low crossing.
The street has multiple signs leading up to the bridge on both sides.
Binghamton leaders want to lower the road by four inches.
The railroad bridge is 11 feet, 11 inches high.
