MONROE COUNTY, N.Y. -- The New Hartford man accused of beating his girlfriend to death inside her Brockport dorm room is scheduled to be formally arraigned today.

Prosecutors say Clayton Whittemore killed Alexandra Kogut, 18, last month.

Whittemore was indicted on one count of second degree murder. If convicted, he faces 25 years to life in prison.
