LIVERPOOL, N.Y. -- The memory of a baby who died almost two years ago will live on in Liverpool.
The community planted an Asian Elm tree, known for its teardrop shape, in front of Village Hall in honor of Isabella Marie.
Isabella was found dead in a dumpster back in January 2011. Her mother, Nicole DeJaynes, was sentenced to 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter.
The tree was donated by a Skaneateles farm. A memorial plaque will also be placed near the tree.
