Police searching murder suspect’s property
FRANKLIN COUNTY, N.Y. -- Federal authorities are searching two properties on opposite ends of the country as part of an ongoing murder investigation.
WCAX in Burlington, Vermont is reporting that state police and FBI agents were searching a cabin on ten acres of land in the Franklin County town of Constable. The property is owned by Israel Keyes, who has been charged in the kidnapping and murder of 18-year-old Samantha Koenig.
The station reports a similar search is underway at another property owned by Keyes in Anchorage, Alaska.
Koenig worked in Alaska as a Barista.
