SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Family and friends came together for answers and to remember a Syracuse woman killed more than a decade ago.
The 14th annual Walk for Sherry Schaub was held Friday on South Avenue and Valley Drive in Syracuse. A candlelight vigil and prayer session followed the walk.
Schaub's body was found on October 31st, 1998 in the Town of Pompey. Her murder remains unsolved.
Sherry's sister, Monica, says the walk and vigil are great honors, but they bring back difficult memories.
"We're hoping for closure, for somebody to come forward. It's been 14 long years and still nothing," said Monica Schaub.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call State Police at (315) 677-9964.
