ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Jefferson County woman has died following a motorcycle crash in the Town of Annsville. It happened around 3:20 p.m. Friday on Taberg and Florence roads.

The Oneida County Sheriff's office says Sally Sugrue, 66, of Rodman, lost control of her motorcycle on a curve, struck a guardrail and was thrown from her bike. She was taken to Rome Memorial Hospital where she later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
