LAWRENCE, N.Y. -- A motorcyclist was airlifted after crashing in St. Lawrence County. Deputies said Clifford Haggett lost control of his motorcycle just before 4:00 p.m. on Friday on State Highway 11-C in the Town of Lawrence.

Haggett was thrown from his bike, and airlifted to Fletcher-Allen Medical Center in Vermont with massive head trauma and a possible fractured neck. His current condition is unknown.

The crash is still under investigation. Deputies said charges are possible.
